The Parent Info Meeting is on June 4th. If you will click on the retreat form tab above the permission slip is available for you and you can fill that out and bring to the parent meeting, and make the night go a lot faster and smoother! 🙂
This is one of the biggest events we will do in the year. It is a week-long trip where students are able to get away from their friends, the world, and everything else. Breakout is held at Shocco Springs Camp Center in Talladega, AL. There are a lot of great, fun, and awesome activities that the students can partake in. The students are placed into teams that they are with throughout the week. These teams are led by a camp counselor and have high school students that are also helping lead the teams. These teams will have recreation throughout the week, they will also have competitions in scripture memory. There is worship, a camp drama, a camp speaker and a lot of fun time for the students to enjoy themselves and connect with other students. We have been able to see so many students that come home from Breakout with a new perspective on their family, their school, their walk with Jesus, and sometimes even their future. Breakout is a great place to draw close with God and connect with students around you.

Get Uncomfortable:: Doug Campbell & Jacob Watts will be walking thru a great study on stretching your belief to action, giving purpose behind your service, and giving depth to the way you love others.
Roots:: Tim Sexton w/ Jordan Clanton will walk through a foundational study on our identity in Christ. Looking at What does “following Jesus” really mean? Why do we still struggle with the same things? How do I see God, myself, and others?
Be Complete:: Ashley Lowe will give a thorough overview of the book of Colossians. Using a commentary/ verse by verse style, breaking down the book and applying it to our own lives.

Girl Prom. & No it’s not a homeschool prom, or a prom for girls that won’t go to what you call the “real prom” its for fun, dancing to cool tunes, hanging with other girls, and just an all around fun night!
